Casa do Brasileiro is located in São João da Pesqueira, which is considered the heart of the world's first demarcated wine region - the Alto Douro Vinhateiro (National Monument and ZEP), inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2001.

This house, characteristic of 20th century Brazilian architecture (1920-1930), once served as a hotel and is still remembered by the local population, who call this property a Hotel.
