The project should include the installation and operation of a higher quality hotel establishment.
 
The total investment for the recovery of the property is estimated at 4.5 million euros.
 
It is expected to start operating in April of 2025.

On November 23, 2018, was launched the public tender for the concession of the south wing of Mosteiro de Arouca, in Arouca. The concession requires the execution of works, including infrastructure, and subsequent tourism operation as hotel establishment, local accommodation establishment or other project with tourist vocation, in accordance with the legislation in force.
 
- Concession period: 50 (fifty) years
- Minimum annual rent: € 9.500,00
- Total construction area: around 5.295,00 SqM
