On 4 September 2024, Notícias de Coimbra (with the Lusa agency) published a news  about the Mosteiro do Lorvão (in Penacova). The concessionaire expects work to begin on transforming the national monument into a 93-room hotel in the first half of 2025.

The architectural project has been approved. In the meantime, work has begun on the specialities that the Soft Time manager (the company that won the monastery concession in 2021) expects to deliver in the municipality between the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025. The manager also told Lusa that Soft Time recently won the tender for the concession of the Mosteiro de Santa Clara-a-Nova in Coimbra.
