This meeting stemmed from the experience gained in implenting the REVIVE Programme in Portugal, an example of sucess that involves high-value public properties that are not being enjoyed by local communities and their visitors, by undertaking private investment, making them apt for use in an economic activity, namely in areas related to hotels, restaurants, cultural activities, or other forms of entertainment and commerce, preserving the values and pre-requisites that determined the domain of these assets and their public property, while also finding mechanisms that allow the pursuit of the objectives of rehabilitation and valorization of assets targeted.

The meeting, which was attended by de Coordinating Directors of 'Recursos e Oferta' Department, and 'Jrídico' Department, Leonor Picão and Nuno Barros, was aimed, after selecting the properties, at carrying out awareness-raising activities, at training the technical staff in Angola for the selection of the pilot project and the respective preparation of the tender documents.
