Located between the Atlantic coast and the Aveiro estuary, the ancient Torreira holiday camp has private access to the sea beach, as well as an outdoor swimming pool, playground, bicycle circuit, children's playground and a large green area surrounding the central building and the two accommodation buildings.
This complex, built in the 1970s, is of high architectural quality and potential, and is one of the many works of the renowned architect of the Modern Movement, Alfredo Viana de Lima.
This building emphasises the combanition of concrete and masonry, the articulation of the effects of shading and light, and the use of sucupira wood in the exterior and interior windows and doors, as well as in the interior floors.
